Construction Zone: Update on Construction Projects at Kent State


The pedestrian bridge, which extends over state Route 261 as part of the PORTAGE Hike and Bike Trail, is currently under construction. The trail serves as a link between major hike and bike trails in Summit and Trumbull counties.

The Office of the University Architect is in the process of designing projects that are scheduled for construction next spring and summer. Across Kent State's eight campuses, here are the major facility and infrastructure improvements being administered by the architect’s office:
