Construction Zone: Update on Construction Projects at Kent State


Across Kent State's eight campuses, many projects are now in process of bidding and contracting for summer construction work. The major facility and infrastructure improvements administered by the Office of the University Architect are as follows:

Ongoing projects under construction:
Franklin Hall is being renovated and expanded for the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. The construction contracts were recently awarded and construction has commenced. Construction fencing around the worksite will remain in place through Spring Semester 2007.
