Construction Zone: Update on Construction Projects at Kent State

Here are the major facility and infrastructure improvements administered by the Office of the University Architect:

Workers pour a concrete floor in the addition to Franklin Hall Sept. 20. Work on Franklin, one of the oldest buildings on campus, continues as the School of Journalism and Mass Communication hopes to move into the building in 2008.

  • Michael Schwartz Center Glass Block Replacement
  • Michael Schwartz Center Roof Rehabilitation
  • Music and Speech Center Roof Rehabilitation, Phase 1
  • Stockdale Roof Replacement
  • Tri-Towers Rotunda Renovations for Design Studios
  • WKSU-FM Remote Repeaters Emergency Generators

  • Ice Arena Locker Room Expansion
