Job Description:
A variety of secretarial tasks, including creating and maintaining graduate student files and records for the department and assisting students in applying and registering for classes.  I also help the students with day-to-day concerns and questions.

Employment Prior to Kent State University:
I worked for Dr. Steve Michael in the Provost’s office in 2003 and then I moved to Texas.  While I was there, I worked for a county public defender’s office.   I’m also a United States Naval Reserves veteran of eight years with active duty in Naples, Italy during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Likes Most About Kent State University:
The campus, the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, and the students and staff I get to work with!

Attraction to Kent State University as an employer:
The pleasant working atmosphere, it’s close to home, and the great benefits!
