School of Art Galleries Open Two New Shows
Curated by Richard Myers, the show features the work of Mary Ann Flynn-Fouse, Marlene Mancini Frost, John Opie, Susan Opie, Edward Pramuk, Harry Wheeler and Robert Wick.
This show is a reunion of seven artists of immense talent and influence. All studied at Kent State’s School of Art with the exception of Sue Opie. These artists and their work are a rich part of the School of Art’s history. Curator Richard Myers is an emeritus professor of art, who studied alongside the other artists during the mid-1950s.
The School of Art Gallery is located in the Art Building at 400 Janik Drive on the Kent Campus. Gallery hours are Tuesdays - Fridays, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. For more information, call 330-672-7853.

The exhibit is curated by School of Art alumnus Al Bright and features the work of School of Art alumni Hilton Murray, in addition to Nelson Stevens and artist Louis Burroughs. The Downtown Gallery is located at 141 E. Main Street in Kent.
