Kent State University experienced a great loss recently, with the death of political science professor Dr. Gertrude "Trudy" Steuernagel. During her life she was a strong advocate for individuals with autism, especially for her own son, Sky Walker. Dr. Betsy V. Boze, who has served as the dean of Kent State University's Stark Campus, has announced her decision to step down from the dean’s role for personal reasons, effective immediately.
