Dr. Wanda Thomas, dean of the Trumbull Campus, has expanded her leadership role at Kent State University to include guiding the Regional Campus System as interim executive dean for Regional Campuses. She will serve in this interim position for a term of one year, while maintaining her duties as dean of the Trumbull Campus. The new assignment became effective July 15. Read More
President Barack Obama recently named 100 beginning researchers as recipients of the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers, the highest honor bestowed by the United States government on young professionals in the early stages of their independent research careers.
