Kent State English Professor Susanna Fein has won a major federal grant in the humanities to co-direct a seminar on Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales for school teachers in London next summer.

Kent State Receives $2.7 Million Training Grant for Environmental Aquatic Resource Sensing

Kent State University has been awarded a training grant in the amount of $2,756,719 by the National Science Foundation under its Integrative Graduation Education and Research Training (IGERT) program. This is the first IGERT grant to be awarded to Kent State. The grant, which is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, runs through 2014.

Kent State University’s participation in the Academic Quality Improvement Plan has reached a milestone – submission of its second Systems Portfolio. The university’s first Systems Portfolio was submitted in October 2005.
