Profiles of Excellence in Action

Following a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration site visit report calling the evaluation “outstanding” and a “model component,” the Cuyahoga Tapestry System of Care evaluation component was awarded the highest honors for youth and family participation in a review process. That evaluation process was conducted by staff from Kent State’s Institute for the Study and Prevention of Violence.

This month, the Division of Information Services introduced several programs designed to improve our support for the Kent State community. One of the most visible changes has been to the Kent State University Helpdesk. Through a new partnership, we’re able to expand the technology assistance we provide to all students, faculty and staff.

University and Town Came Together at Community Dinner

On Saturday, Nov. 21, more than 450 people gathered in the university’s ballroom for the Kent Community Dinner. Kent State hosted the November dinner as part of its Centennial events. The event coincided with International Education Week, which the university also celebrated.
