Kent State University announced last week that enrollment for spring 2010 is up 11.6 percent with the release of the university’s official 15th day census data for the eight-campus system. Kent State University took the next step in the Graduation Planning System (GPS) project by signing a contract with SunGard Higher Education to develop the automatic tracking portion of the project using the company’s DegreeWorks solution. The university’s strategic goal is to improve student success by creating clear degree paths for all students at all campuses and tracking their success at critical points so appropriate interventions can be administered.
