Kent State has been the connection for faculty members Barbara Yoost and Lynne Crawford since their days as nursing students in the mid-1970s. Back then, Henderson Hall didn’t exist, and nursing classes were taught in the basement of Franklin Hall. Both alumnae graduated with the desire to teach, and in the years since, they found their way back to the College of Nursing, where their devotion to education and vision for the future of nursing curricula has led to accomplished and fulfilling careers.
