This summer, Kent State will roll out the newest version of Lotus Notes called Lotus Notes Domino 6 or “ND6.” Used by many university administrative staff members, Lotus Notes combines its e-mail program with advanced calendaring and scheduling capabilities. The ND6 version includes a new look and hundreds of new features, including an instant messaging capability and an interactive tutorial program called Mentor.

As a result of the outpouring of support from listeners and viewers across the country, the House of Representatives restored $90 million in funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting it had proposed to cut last month. This is money that goes directly to public stations and helps pay for programming.
