The Olga A. Mural Nursing Simulation Laboratory is designed to emulate the settings and situations that are encountered in realistic practice situations. Patient conditions and responses can be simulated to challenge the learner to practice competencies and critically analyze results.

Night Security and Lighting
To ensure the Kent State University campus presents a safe environment at night, university officials tour the campus each year. Adjustments are made to lighting and landscaping after every tour. In the near future, much of the outdoor lighting on campus will be upgraded to energy efficient LED fixtures.
