Kent State celebrated a Dedication of Lights ceremony at Schoonover Stadium on Wednesday, April 17, prior to the Golden Flashes' baseball game versus Niagara. The Flashes ended up winning the game, 21-2.

Wiesel's personal experience of the Holocaust led him to use his talents as an author, teacher and storyteller to advocate for human rights and peace in the world.
