Back by popular demand, Wynonna and The Big Noise will return to the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas on Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. In her latest venture, the 30-year music veteran has created an entirely new high-energy show with her band, The Big Noise. Judd will perform her biggest hits along with a rockin’ selection of her favorite covers.

“When Wynonna Judd first performed here in March 2012, we had a sold-out house, and her performance was terrific,” says Mike Morelli, general manager of the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas. “So we knew we had to bring her back – especially when we had many requests for her to return to our spectacular venue. It will be a different show from her first performance here. This is one show you do not want to miss!”

Tickets, which range in price from $50 - $77, are now on sale and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center Box Office, online at www.tusc.kent.edu/pac or by calling 330-308-6400.The box office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free parking is available for all shows.

Five-time Grammy winner and New York Times bestselling author, Judd has always revolved her career around telling stories. Whether performing alongside her mother as one half of the legendary duo, The Judds, or pushing the boundaries on her own mega-successful solo path, Judd’s ability to reach the heart of the human spirit through her bold and unflinching honesty is the entertainer’s true gift.

Respected by the millions of fans who are drawn to her music and her undeniable talent, Judd’s rich and commanding voice has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide spanning her epic 30-year career. Charting countless singles, including 20 #1 hits and more than 60 industry awards, the iconic performer was once dubbed by Rolling Stone as “the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline.”

Joined in the studio by her husband, bandleader and producer, Michael “Cactus” Moser, she will soon release her highly anticipated eighth studio album. This effort, described by Judd as “vintage yet modern,” features the single “Something You Can’t Live Without” released by Curb Records.

Most recently, Wynonna and Cactus also wrote and recorded the soulful, acoustic-driven track "Follow Me" for the 2014 feature film The Hornet’s Nest, which tells the true story of a group of U.S. troops on a dangerous mission in Afghanistan.

With her new women’s shoe line Got Soul now available at Fred Segal LA and boutiques across the country, her stint on ABC’s juggernaut show Dancing With the Stars, her novel Restless Heart in stores and The Judds docu-series debuting with enormous television ratings on the Oprah Winfrey Network in 2011, you can bet Judd's fans will be watching very closely as she writes this next chapter of her legendary career.

The Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas is located at 330 University Dr. NE, New Philadelphia.
