You're invited to a very special event for the Kent State University family. On Wednesday, March 2, TOGETHER: Excellence in Action celebrates our shared commitment to excellence and shows appreciation for the faculty and staff who demonstrate excellence in action every day.

There's plenty to celebrate. Each day seems to bring new recognitions and honors as the world discovers all the great things happening here. Kent State is ranked among the top 200 universities in the world and is the largest public research university in Northeast Ohio, as well as the No. 1employer in Portage County.

This event recognizes and reinforces that, together Kent State represents a powerful force — individually, locally and internationally! Through working together and through the resources — both human and capital — of our large, successful institution, we can accomplish great things and will continue to do so.

This appreciation event offers two sessions to accommodate busy schedules and is open to all faculty and staff. The festivities include an ice cream social and some "most excellent" giveaways.
