The Kent State University at Trumbull team of Greg Perry and Trevor White — both students — finished fifth at the FLW College Fishing Northern Conference Invitational tournament staged on the Potomac River on Oct. 11-12. The pair finished the two-day event with a total of nine bass weighing 20 pounds, 13 ounces. The finish earned the duo $1,000 and qualified the team for the 2015 FLW College Fishing National Championship, to be staged April 16 in Lake Murray, South Carolina.
