Police Lieutenant Chris Jenkins was selected as the commissioned employee and Police Dispatcher Stephanie Bartos was chosen as the noncommissioned employee.

Jenkins has been with the university for 16 years. Bartos has worked for the department since May 2010.
The Department of Public Safety has honored outstanding employees with Employee of the Year awards since 1993. The recipients’ photograph and engraved plaques are on display in the lobby of the Stockdale Building.
