Kent State University’s Division of Human Resources and College of the Arts are excited to share the following buy one, get one (BOGO) free ticket purchasing opportunities for upcoming performances. Make plans now to reserve your tickets for these outstanding offers for Kent State faculty and staff.

Kent Keyboard Series Concert: Sunday, Oct. 26, at 5 p.m.

The Keyboard Series is thrilled to present the award-winning pianist Jennifer Hayghe, who has performed in solo recitals and made orchestral appearances throughout the world, including the United States, Europe and Asia. Hayghe received her bachelors and master’s degrees, as well as a doctorate in piano performance from The Juilliard School, where she was the last student of the legendary artist-teacher Adele Marcus. Hayghe won every award possible for a Juilliard pianist to receive, including the William Petschek Debut Award, resulting in her New York City recital debut at Alice Tully Hall.

Purchase up to four tickets and receive four for free. Tickets are $13.

Hot Mikado: Saturday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m.

Based on The Mikado by W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan; when the heir to the Japanese throne runs away and joins a traveling orchestra, he falls in love with a girl on his travels. But there's a problem – they are both engaged to other people. As the heir pursues his love, avoids his father and fiancé, and tries to maintain the secret of his true identity, musical comedy ensues.

Dance '14 “In the Flow”: Friday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m.

This dance concert features choreography from dance faculty and guest choreographers in a celebration of artistic versatility and diversity. The concert will feature performances by dance majors, minors and faculty members.

Employee Buy One, Get One (BOGO) tickets must be reserved through the box office, via phone or in person. The Performing Arts Box Office phone number is 330-672-2787(ARTS) and is located in the lobby of the Roe Green Center, in the Kent State Performing Arts Center (previously known as the Music and Speech Building) on the Kent Campus.
