So, what is your bold vision for the best Kent State?
For Kelvin Berry, director of economic development, corporate partnering and community engagement in the Division of Business and Finance, a bold vision starts with Kent State’s students.
“I believe a bold vision for Kent State will always start with ensuring the academic success of our traditional and nontraditional students and creating for them an amazing college experience where they live, study, eat or play, any time they engage in any function at any Kent State campus,” he says.
Berry added a bold vision begins with the recognition that all faculty and staff from each campus play an essential role in making the college experience of our students enriching, enjoyable and Kent State distinctive.
“From the building or groundskeeper to the foodservice worker, from the administrator to the faculty member and from the division executive to the president, we must share the same vision of what our students’ experience should be — now and into the future,” he says. “It falls to all of us to put the flash in their success and college experience.”

Warren’s goal of drafting a vision, values and university priorities by May invites additional input from the community.
