Last week, AllCare Dental closed its offices, including locations in Northeast Ohio. AllCare was part of the network of dentists available through Delta Dental, which is Kent State's provider for dental insurance.

If you have dental coverage through the university and were a patient at an AllCare office, you can find information from AllCare at http://allcareinfo.com. The site is being updated with information about the transfer of patient records and unfinished dental work.

Kent State faculty and staff who used AllCare Dental will need to select a new dental provider. Employees enrolled in the Delta Dental Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan can find a list of in-network dentists at www.deltadentaloh.com. You may choose a provider that is outside of the network, but there is a higher benefit paid for services from an in-network provider.

Employees enrolled in the DeltaCare DMO program can find a list of providers at www.deltadentalins.com. Please note that DMO participants must verify that the new provider is part of the DeltaCare USA network. This can be accomplished by calling 800-422-4234.
