Annual Fall Benefits Fair Set for Sept. 29

The Division of Human Resources invites all Kent State University employees to the annual Open Enrollment and Wellness Fair on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom.

Faculty and staff will be able to meet with representatives from the university’s medical, dental, vision, insurance and other benefits-related vendors for 2012. Employees are encouraged to come to the fair to gather all the information they will need to make their decisions for Open Enrollment, which will run from Oct. 9-21. The list of vendors includes:

  • Legacy Services/Long-Term Care
  • Healthy Life Screening

  • Park Place Airport Parking

The event will also feature healthy cooking demonstrations, live fitness demos featuring Zumba, aerobics and line dancing, and strength training tips from Intercollegiate Athletics. Postcards have been mailed to employees at their campus address. Bring your postcard along with you to register for door prizes.

The fair will run in conjunction with a Kent campus flu clinic for faculty, staff and their eligible dependents (age six and older). The flu clinic is full but there will be two additional clinics scheduled on the Kent Campus on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 (time and location TBA) and several clinics at the Regional Campuses.
