Posted Aug. 10, 2015On Saturday, Aug. 22, Main Street Kent will host a unique progressive event in downtown Kent. Tickets must be purchased in advance for this specially planned evening involving several downtown favorites.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. with cocktails and a private magic show at the popular Ray’s Place - upstairs. Then, dinner reservations are at 6:15 p.m. – at four local restaurants. For this portion of the event, guests will get to choose (in advance) from these local eateries: Belleria, Bricco, Laziza or Pufferbelly. Restaurant selection will be made at time of event ticket purchase. A limited number of tickets will be available for each location.
After dinner, guests will meet back up at the Kent Stage for an 8 p.m. show. The talented magician Jason Alan will kick off the show with a unique, unpredictable live performance. Blurring the lines between what is real and what is magic, he presents an innovative and exciting act. Following Alan is a high-energy performance by the talented Charles Peachock, who puts on a one-of-a-kind creative and visual spectacle. To top off the evening, guests will enjoy a private dessert party at Tree City Coffee and Pastry at 9:30 p.m., to include some delectable sweets and a drink or coffee of choice. This one-of-a-kind event is sure to please, so don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy the tastes and entertainment of downtown Kent.
Tickets are $65 per person or $125 for a pair. One hundred tickets are available, and can be purchased on the Main Street Kent website at www.mainstreetkent.org/progressive-event. Ticketholders will receive a ticket packet in the mail to include for each person: two drink tickets for Ray’s Place, a dinner voucher for $20 per person to spend at the selected restaurant and a ticket to the show at the Kent Stage.
