University photographer Bob Christy took this photo of a
shell on New Providence Island, near Nassau, toward
the eastern end of the island during a trip to The Bahamas.

Math Professor Stephen Gagola, Jr. submitted this photo
of his son Stephen Gagola, III, a Kent State math alumnus,
who was in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for a math conference.
In this photo, a beggar pokes the elbow of Gagola's son
who was visiting Sao Paulo with a colleague (left).
