To thank its customers, The Tech Spot will give away, via Facebook, more than 50 prizes, including a Dell netbook, a Dell laser printer, iTunes gift cards, T-shirts and many other items.

Current students, faculty and staff can simply 'like' The Tech Spot on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ksutechspot to enter into the giveaway. Details on how to win will be posted to the Facebook page on Sept.15, 2010. Participants must click 'Like' on The Tech Spot's Facebook Page before the end of October in order to qualify to win a prize.

The Tech Spot has a lot to celebrate. In just more than a year, they have expanded to serve the entire Kent State community, including all students, faculty and staff, received certification to repair Apple and Dell computers under warranty and have refurbished and donated laptop computers to many non-profits, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Portage County. The refurbished computers were donated by the Kent State community as part of The Tech Spot's spring semester Revive, Reboot, Reuse campaign.

"We are very thankful for the enthusiasm and feedback we've received from the Kent State community over the last year," says Wendy Shih, manager of information technology. "Now it's our chance to thank our loyal customers by giving them the chance to win some great prizes via Facebook."
