Kronos is Being Replaced by Empower Work Force Management
Posted June 8, 2015As of May 31, all hourly employees at the university have been moved from Kronos to the Empower system. Kronos will no longer be used. Supervisors will still be able to access the system to approve hours for the final week and run any reports needed.
Supervisors have been trained on the Empower system and should instruct employees on its use and field questions, if at all possible. Additional information for employees is available at www.kent.edu/payroll/empower select “Empower Employee Guide.” The Supervisor’s Guide also is available on this payroll website.
There are open labs scheduled to assist supervisors with the Empower system in Stewart Hall, Room 103 on the following days:
- Monday, June 8, from 9:30 a.m. to noon
- Wednesday, June 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
