Kent State University's annual Open Enrollment and
Wellness Fairs will take place on all campuses.

During the fair, employees will have a chance to meet with representatives from the university’s various benefits providers for 2014. This includes not only the university’s healthcare providers, but also representatives from companies that offer financial, retirement and voluntary insurance options for faculty and staff.

In addition, employees can obtain information on the wellness resources offered through the various insurance providers as well as programs offered through OneWellU, the wellness program offered through the Division of Human Resources.

The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) will be offering breakout sessions on the Kent and Kent State Stark campuses. For information regarding these breakout sessions and times, you may visit the Open Enrollment and Wellness Fair website here. There is no registration required for the OPERS sessions and each session is scheduled to last one hour.

Mark McLeod, the university benefits manager, says the fair is an excellent opportunity for employees to get the information they need to make their decisions for Open Enrollment, which is Oct. 13-25. Those who attend the fair will also have a chance to win a variety of raffle prizes donated by many of the vendors.

A list of participating vendors and additional activities can be found on the Open Enrollment Fair page at www.kent.edu/hr/benefits/oefair.cfm. You may also contact the Benefits Office at 330-672-3107 or benefits@kent.edu.
