My department’s great (and rare) combination of excellent teaching, productive research and delightful collegiality.
Attraction to Kent State University as an Employer:
Psychology was already a strong department with a new Ph.D. program and an appealing philosophy. For example, junior people taught the grad courses, not the big introductory classes, and offices were assigned randomly, rather than being grouped by specialty area.
