Job Description:
My principal responsibility is management of the various aspects of all physics lab courses. In a typical semester, I am the instructor of record for approximately 600 students in 30 to 35 sections of five general lab courses, including two Web-based lab courses. I also team-teach or assist with logistics in approximately seven sections of four undergraduate major lab courses. These duties include TA training and supervision for a staff of approximately 30 graduate student TAs, lab policy and grading coordination, curriculum development and equipment repair. I also assist with our lecture demonstration collection, department inventory management, and serve as our departmental laboratory and radiation safety representative to the university.
