Job Description:
Upward Bound is a federally funded TRiO program that works with first-generation and low- income students. We work to break down social and economic barriers for students so that they can graduate from high school and then matriculate and graduate from college. We offer programming during the academic year as well as bring our students to campus for five weeks during the summer.

Besides meeting my wife, over the past few years I have enjoyed all the physical changes that make Kent State more inviting. I also like how some things are becoming more student-centered.

I enjoy the benefits of working at an institution but I've also enjoyed meeting many influential people (i.e. Dr. Nelson, Dr. Kretovics, Greg Jarvie and Dana Lawless-Andric, to name a few) who have helped me since I've been here.
