Job Description:
Provide mental healthcare to students and also run programs and training to educate students, staff and faculty about mental health needs; work with other campus professionals to develop training about mental health issues and management of disruptive behavior; respond to mental health emergencies on campus

Employment Prior to Kent State University:
Emergency services office at Coleman Professional Services and with police departments, assisting with training officers about mental health and crisis response, and participating on the county’s Crisis Response Team.

I had spent several years working for Kent State and always wanted to return. I am passionate about working with college students, faculty and staff, and Kent State as an employer offers a wide range of opportunities, empowerment and education.

Likes Most About Kent State University:
It’s my alma mater and it’s also like my second home. I have enjoyed meeting and interacting with various staff all across the university, including the seven regional campuses. I enjoy the friendliness and enthusiasm of the students and co-workers that I have had the pleasure to work with for the past 15 years. I have always enjoyed the beauty of the campus and love watching the black squirrels scurry around campus.
