The hardworking students and devoted faculty, knowing we are helping make a difference in students’ lives every day – these things are an inspiration to me.
Attraction to Kent State University as an Employer:
There are several reasons why I returned to the area and to Kent State. The obvious reason is that I was born and raised here, so this is home. There’s nothing like the draw of friends and family. Another reason is I love the changing seasons in Northeast Ohio. Each season is spectacular. One of the main reasons is that I love Kent State. It gave me my start in my career. As the first generation in my family to go to college, I felt the faculty, the support staff and the learning environment were so positive – it was a wonderful choice for me. Returning to the college is a great opportunity to give back.
