New Face

Job Description:
I support the reception area, talent acquisition, as well as engagement and outreach. Whether you are new or a longtime employee of the university, my job is to greet you when you come into Human Resources, make you feel welcome and direct you to the person who can answer your questions.

Employment Prior to Kent State University:
I spent the last six years in a managerial role at the Country Club of Hudson. Prior to that, I was the office manager for a McDonald’s restaurant franchisee.
Likes Most About Kent State University:
Many members of my family go to school here and work here. My daughter is a sophomore at Kent State, and she loves it here. Also, there are many opportunities for learning, growth and self-development. I am excited to be able to take advantage of those opportunities.
Attraction to Kent State University as an Employer:
I’m a returning employee, I worked in Human Resources before, and I loved it enough to come back. The people are friendly, and I enjoy what I do.

Hobbies:
My kids are my hobby. I’m a proud mother of four. I have a daughter and three sons. They’re very active in every sport and extracurricular activity they can think of. I also work out at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center daily.
