Serve as a key conduit of information; collaborate to develop communications that are targeted to donors, prospective donors and additional key constituencies of Institutional Advancement; develop the annual communications plan that enhances the outreach efforts of Institutional Advancement including web-based communications, direct mail, event marketing and constituent outreach.

Senior corporate relations consultant with Allstate Insurance Company from December 2004 – August 2013. Prior to that, I worked for Kent State University from 1995 – 2004.

The people, the atmosphere and most of all the students – I love the energy, excitement and ideas they bring to everything they do.

As a former employee and lifetime resident of the area, I am well aware of the outstanding reputation of Kent State University – it’s an institution I proudly serve. In addition, I fully support and believe in the mission of Kent State, and I’m grateful we are able to positively impact thousands of students as they take the first steps toward successful and rewarding careers.

Job Description:

I handle quality assurance for tickets that are submitted to the Helpdesk. I also provide accounts and generate reports. One of my favorite duties is to man the table at the resource fairs for new students.

I love the collegiate atmosphere and the ever-present opportunities to learn something new. The campus is a beautiful setting for a lunchtime walk.

At the time I applied, I was just looking for a job, but Kent State has provided so much more for my family and me. Between my two sons and I, we have earned five degrees!
