Likes Most About Kent State University:
The people. It’s a cliché, but true — I work with some of the most interesting, thoughtful and entertaining people I know, and there’s not many people who get to say that about their jobs! It’s also a wonderful time to be in Kent itself. The downtown looks amazing, the restaurant scene just gets better and better and the energy is contagious!
Attraction to Kent State University as an Employer:
My grandfather (John Alexander) played football here in the 1930s, and my mom and her sisters went here in the ‘60s as well. I grew up hearing about Kent State and their wonderful memories and experiences, so I always thought highly of the university. It was (and still is) hugely exciting to be a part of an institution that played such an important role in my family’s history. And now my husband is an alumnus, too! (Lindsey Coombs, BSN, 2012)
