Likes Most About Kent State University:
Kent State is a large institution, but it is invested in making sure students feel at home. In communication studies, we are doing everything we can to make a big place feel like a much smaller place, and that’s one of the things I love most about Kent State.
Attraction to Kent State University as an Employer:
Kent State values both research and teaching excellence, and that important balance is sometimes difficult to achieve. Members of the faculty have support for their research, but are also given opportunities to engage in exciting teaching initiatives. For example, I co-taught a short-term, study-abroad course in Prague, and had the opportunity to work one-on-one with some of our best students.
