My experiences as a student worker attracted me back to Kent State. I worked at Kent State as a student technician and a graduate assistant while obtaining my master’s degree and I loved the work I did, the difference that I made and the people I worked with.

I oversee most of the public service areas of the libraries including: Reference, Instruction, Student Multimedia Studio, Special Collections and Archives, the Fashion Library, the Architecture Library, the Map Library and the Performing Arts Library.

That it’s like home. Kent State is an institution that has touched and impacted so many people, old friends and new acquaintances alike. That it has a friendly, welcoming, homecoming feel that I really enjoy and love to tell others about.
Attraction to Kent State University as an Employer:
Not many people know it, but within the library profession, Kent State is nationally known for the quality of its library and faculty librarians. I felt it was a great career move to land a faculty appointment here.
