Job Description:
My primary responsibility at the bookstore is to serve our students, campus and community needs. Other enjoyable aspects consist of assisting with our social media, marketing, event planning, e-commerce, store operation, training, receiving/shipping, textbook/ general merchandise inventory and merchandising. As an adjunct instructor for DKS-FYE, Freshman Orientation, I introduce new students to Kent State’s culture and services. I am a point of reference for them and assist in fostering relationships between students, faculty and staff, which promotes a successful transition and encourages retention.
