When is the annual process for staff to convert sick leave to vacation?

The annual sick leave conversion for staff began Sept. 1 and runs through Sept. 14. During this period, eligible classified and unclassified employees with a continuing appointment may convert accrued sick leave to vacation per administrative policy 3342-6-11.2.

Employees eligible for the conversion received information in an Aug. 24 e-mail and also in the Personal Announcements channel of the My Campus tab in their FlashLine accounts.

The process will be handled electronically through the My HR tab in FlashLine. The system will tell you how much sick and vacation leave you currently have and how much you are eligible to convert. With the electronic process, employees will receive a confirmation e-mail and will also see the conversion reflected immediately in their FlashLine leave balances.
