When is Homecoming?
Kent State University’s Homecoming is Oct. 20, with a day full of fun activities planned for everyone, including the Kent State Homecoming parade and the football game against the Western Michigan Broncos.
The festivities kick-off at 9 a.m. with an alumni continental breakfast and parade viewing hosted at the Williamson Alumni Center. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend this complimentary continental breakfast and watch the Homecoming parade, which begins at 10 a.m.
Other highlights of the day include the 1962 Golden Order luncheon, Kiss on the K, an art auction and reception with alumni Tom Batiuk,’69 and Chuck Ayers, ’71, and a performance by mentalist Christopher Carter. At 3:30 p.m., the action moves to Dix Stadium, where the Golden Flashes will take on the Western Michigan Broncos.
