HR Question of the Week

HR Question of the week

Can faculty, staff and community members borrow items from University Libraries on the Kent Campus?

Yes. Faculty and staff can check out items from the library by presenting their FLASHcard at the circulation desk on the first floor of the University Library. There is also a "community borrower" service that is free to community members 16 years of age or older. A community borrower may check out items from the Libraries' collection or from OhioLINK. To become a community borrower, go to the circulation desk and present a valid photo ID. These borrowers are limited to a maximum checkout of 20 items at one time; and of these, only five can be requested or checked out from OhioLINK. More information is available at www.library.kent.edu/borrowingprivileges.

If you have a suggestion for a future HR Question, please send it to hrweb@kent.edu.
