Marianne Martens, School of Library and Information Science, presented a short paper titled "Toward a New Paradigm of (Children’s) Publishing" as part of the Youth Services SIG Panel at the ALISE Preliminary Conference in Philadelphia, Pa., on January 2014.
Bathi Kasturiarachi, Department of Mathematics, Kent State University at Stark, presented "Future State of the Evolving Classroom in Mathematics" at the Southern Hemisphere Conference on Teaching and Learning Undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics - DELTA 2013 in Kiama, Australia, on Nov. 25-29, 2013.
Summary: The presentation reported on three models of delivery and emphasized on the blended model, which can be used to motivate students to excel in mathematics.

Margaret Maurer, head of metadata and catalogue, presented an RDA Travelogue, titled “RDA Implementation Experiences: An OCLC Webinar” in October 2013. More than 900 sites registered for this webinar and more than 500 attended in person; and joined the editorial board of Cataloging and Classification Quarterly – a Taylor and Francis journal – in Feb. 2014.
