Kathryn Strand, College of Architecture and Environmental Design, has received the "30 for the Future" award from the Greater Akron Chamber.
Timothy Owens, Department of Sociology, has been selected as chair-elect of the American Sociological Association Section on Social Psychology by the American Sociological Association (ASA). The section has more than 600 American and international members. “After one year as chair-elect from August 2013 to August 2014, I will become the chair of the section for 2014-2015,” Owens says. “As chair, I will lead the section and will be responsible for its official program at the August 2015 ASA annual meeting in Chicago.”
