Gregory Smith of the School of Lifespan Development and Educational Services, has agreed to a accept an invitation from Jim Petro, chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents and Dr. Bonnie Kantor-Burman, executive director of the Ohio Department of Aging to serve a one-year term on the newly formed Aging and Higher Education Advisory Committee, as well as a research sub-committee. Smith will be joined by representatives from Ohio’s institutions of higher education, state agencies and organizations that provide services to and advocate for older Ohioans, Ohio industry partners and others

Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice. 18.3 (2011): 185-202.
Summary: This article details the innovative use of Sister Circles as a way of treating anxiety in black women. The research was supported by a major grant from the National Institute of Mental Health.
