Denise Bedford, School of Library and Information Science , presented "Business Capability Modeling as a Foundation for Intellectual Capital Audits" at the Tenth International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning, ICICKM 2013, in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 24-25, 2013.

John Lewis, School of Library and Information Science, presented "The ADIIEA Cycle: Creating an Integrated Framework for Business Processes and Organizational Learning" at the Tenth International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning, ICICKM 2013, in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 24-25, 2013.

Iris Harvey, vice president for university relations at Kent State University, Virginia Albanese, alumna and member of the Kent State Board of Trustees, and Roxia Boykin, president’s ambassador for Kent State from 2011-2012, were among seven women honored at the Akron Urban League’s Women of Power luncheon on Nov. 7, 2013, at the Urban League in Akron, Ohio.

Rob Kairis, University Libraries, presented "Plagiarism School: Strategic Efforts for Educating and Rehabilitating Students" at the Academic Library Association of Ohio Annual Meeting in North Canton, Ohio, on Oct. 24, 2013.

Mark Seeman, Department of Anthropology, was awarded the Distinguished Career Award at the annual meeting of the Midwest Archaeological Conference, Oct. 24-27, Columbus, Ohio.
