The results from this year’s RecycleMania tournament are in, and Kent State University won bragging rights against the University of Akron in the friendly environmental competition. RecycleMania is a benchmarking tool for college and university recycling programs to promote waste reduction activities to their campus communities.
The University Library will open April 29 at 9 a.m. and remain open until May 4 at 10 a.m. for students studying for finals.
This spring, 18 Kent State University students and their two professors, Gary Hanson and Mitch McKenney, spent nine days in Noida, near Delhi, in India’s Uttar Pradesh to produce a multimedia collection of news and feature stories. Their hosts at Amity University provided student-partners who served as guides, collaborators and translators.
Work on the Student Green in front of the library and Kent Student Center is currently underway. Due to this construction, the visitor lot in front of Risman Plaza is closed through Aug. 19.
