Kent State Presents Fair Housing Lecture on April 12
Posted Apr. 11, 2011On Tuesday, April 12, Kent State University presents a fair housing lecture. This month is Fair Housing Month, celebrated across the country each April to commemorate the passage of the Fair Housing Act. The purpose of the April 12 lecture is to educate Kent State students, the general public and housing providers about their fair housing rights and responsibilities.
The speaker is Kris Keniray, assistant director of Fair Housing Contact Service in Akron. The lecture takes place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Kent Student Center, room 319. The event is free and open to the public.
The lecture is presented by Kent State’s Center for Student Involvement and COSO (Commuter and Off-Campus Student Organization).
