Kent State University Police Make Arrests in Weekend Robbery
Posted Feb. 10, 2011While the investigation continues, the Kent State University Police Department has made two arrests in connection with the armed robbery this past Saturday evening (Feb. 5) in the Harbourt Hall parking lot. Tips called in after the Sunday morning alert along with cooperation from local law enforcement helped to make arrests possible.
The two arrested are:
- John Blackmon, 20, a University of Akron student charged with aggravated robbery; and
- Andrew Scott, 20, a Kent State student charged with obstruction of justice.
