New York-Based Fashion Designer Suede to Unveil New SUEDEsays Line of Fabric and Patterns at Kent State
Posted Jan. 24, 2013New York-based fashion designer, Season 5 "Project Runway" contestant and Kent State University graduate Suede will introduce his new SUEDEsays line of fabrics and patterns with a free fashion show Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Rockwell Hall Auditorium at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Rockwell Hall Auditorium is located at 515 Hilltop Drive on the Kent State campus. Reservations are not required.
Suede, who also recently competed on "Project Runway All Stars" Season 2, will unveil his SUEDEsays line with 15 exclusive runway looks. The fashion show is presented in conjunction with Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, Simplicity, The Fashion School at Kent State and Springs Creative. Current Kent State students will serve as models in the show, and the Fashion Student Organization will provide assistance on the day of the show.
The event will include a free meet-and-greet between show times. Suede also will also appear at the Hudson Jo-Ann store at 5381 Darrow Rd. on Friday, Feb. 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
