Eboni Pringle does.
The interim dean for undergraduate studies at Kent State University believes the university’s most important future steps will be made globally.
“We are the university that erases the lines between our campus and the world, fully preparing our students for whatever the future will bring,” Pringle says. “We are the university that conducts cutting-edge research and transforms our community, and it’s now time to let the world know!”
Pringle feels each member of the Kent State community needs to embrace opportunities to tell their own story and do it in a bold way.
“This is Kent State's moment to step forward and claim its place as a premier educational institution committed to access and success for all students seeking to define their own future and the future of our community and world,” Pringle says. “We have been humble about claiming that place in the past, but we do the best for our students, faculty, staff, alumni and community when we step forward and boldly communicate what we create and value.”
Beverly Warren, Kent State president, has set a goal of drafting vision, values and university priorities by May with additional input from the community.
